EXPO IS FINALLY HERE
From it’s origins in Crystal Palace, London in 1851, the World Expo has made it to Dubai. Dubai Expo is finally launched – and we are excited to be hosting clients at the six month event.
We are excited to see what over 190 countries will be presenting over the next few months; which will itself hold a huge number of individual events, including a magical Halloween party.
Some very early, but notable presentations are:
- The British Pavilion is inspired by Stephen Hawkins and will celebrate Artificial Intelligence;
- Sweden’s Pavilion is called “The Forest”. The wooden structure is designed to reduce CO2 emissions and act as a carbon sink;
- The disc-shaped Sustainability Pavilion is entirely operated by solar energy. Each E-Tree has an average of 120 rotating solar panels and follows the sun from sunrise to sunset;
- Luxembourg Pavilion has created a world’s first five senses experience to put the small, but intelligent nation ahead of the curve;
- The Jamaica Pavilion will be hosting a spontaneous street party among shipping containers; and
- Naturally, the China Pavilion will be the largest at nearly 5,000sqm – which will incorporate the western and eastern cultures together.
