Berkeley Rowe bolsters its team with two senior appointments
Specialist commercial and corporate law firm Berkeley Rowe has announced two new appointments to its established team following a period of substantial growth.
Faris Dean joins the firm as a partner and will head up their corporate and commercial department. He brings with him over 15 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, and his new role will see Faris work with small and medium-sized enterprises plus large multi-national firms from across the world.
As well as a solicitor, Faris is also a Chartered Certified Accountant, having previously trained with two of the ‘Big 4’ international accountancy firms. This financial and business knowledge means Faris will provide legal advice to Berkeley Rowe’s clients with an added commercial perspective. He will also focus on legal aspects regarding trade and investment in Middle Eastern counties, utilising his bilingual Arabic and English fluent language skills.
Commenting on his appointment, Faris said: ‘Over the past 18 months, Berkeley Rowe has gone from strength to strength, so I am delighted to be joining a respected firm with a solid reputation and equally ambitious plans for the future. I look forward to growing my department as well as working with colleagues from across the firm as we expand our client offering, especially in the Middle East.’
Alongside Faris, Gideon Rix joins as an associate in the corporate law firm’s dispute resolution team. Gideon joins with a range of experience, having previously advised clients on all aspects of commercial litigation, such as professional negligence and disputes in the construction and energy sectors.
Upon his appointment, Gideon commented: ‘I am delighted to have joined such a dynamic team of experienced litigators, and I can’t wait to start playing a central role as the department and wider business expands into new and exciting areas.’Berkeley Rowe’s latest appointments reflect its recent growth, with the ambitious firm rapidly expanding its team and client list over the previous 18 months, bucking the trend of the industry and economy at large.

The new appointments will be based at Berkeley Rowe’s Mayfair office.
